On Thursday, October 3rd, Illinois State Trooper Brenden Dickmann spoke to the 8th graders. The 8th graders are currently learning about the US Constitution, specifically the amendments, which Trooper Dickmann deals with on a daily basis. Trooper Dickmann gave a brief overview of his day-to-day life as a Illinois State Trooper then opened it up for questions from the students.

On Friday, Officer Isaak recognized all of our 5th graders that completed the DARE program throughout the month of September. All students wrote an essay as part of the program, but the top 3 were chosen to be read at the graduation ceremony. Congratulations to our 5th graders, and thank you Officer Isaak for the time you put in to help make Breese Elementary a better place!
