Another congratulations goes out to former Bobcat, Claire Bingman, Central's IPA Student Recognition Award Winner. During the Spring of 2020, as an 8th grader, Claire was also our nominee; however, as a result of the pandemic, 2020's reception was canceled and Claire was never formally recognized. Great day for Bobcat bowling...girls and boys' teams are both headed to State next weekend. Girls finished 6th overall and the boys finished 1st overall, bringing home the Regional Championship!

It’s School Social Worker Week!
Meet Mrs. Candace Jeffries, our first year Social Worker. Although this is her first year as Social Worker at D12, she brings years of experience in schools prior to D12. We would like to express our gratitude for her invaluable contributions to our school community. She is dedicated to supporting students' emotional well-being, fostering a positive school environment, and advocating for those in need. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every student feels heard, valued, and supported, making a significant impact on their academic and personal growth.
We are lucky to have Mrs. Jeffries and we thank her for all that she does to make it a great day to be a Bobcat!

The Bobcat Choir participated as a group at Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday where they received a FIRST SUPERIOR on their performance of songs "Shake the Papaya Down" & "Viva La Musica".
The music department of Breese Elementary School competed in the Illinois Grade School Music Association’s District 5C Solo and Ensemble Contest on Feb. 24 at Highland Middle School. Breese students received 6 First Superior ratings, 52 First Place/Excellent ratings and 2 Second Place ratings.
