Second grades "Frog Hotel" after learning about amphibians and their life cycles! Hopefully we will get a few visitors before the school year is out
6th grade lab stations April 16th.
Learning about weathering, erosion, and deposition.
Overall, the skittles lab was the favorite (even though they did not consume them).
Students mimicked wind and abrasion and recorded their observations.
5th and 6th grade Popcorn Labs earlier this quarter.
They compared physical traits like luster, color, texture, size, shape, and volume. They took measurements, recorded data and shared their findings.

Information on Mater Dei High School summer camps !☀️
Yesterday, third grade visited the Breese Public Library to learn about the library's resources and services. Students explored several areas and tools, including the Ellison die-cut machine, the STEM section, Vooks (digital read-alouds), and the 3D printer. Many students discovered new favorite spots and said they would like to return!

Today, third-grade students participated in book previews, similar to movie previews, but focused on book series. The class finished with a list of books they wished to borrow from the library, accompanied by popcorn 🍿 for added enjoyment.
