While studying the Illinois Constitution, the 7th & 8th grade students created their own Illinois State Seal. Students had to meet certain criteria including selecting a symbol to represent Clinton County & the town of their choice - Beckemeyer, Breese, Jamestown, or Pocahontas. Congratulations to 7th grader Jennifer & 8th grader Madison on being chosen the Best of Show!

As the holidays approach, Coping 4 Life is providing local families with food, household items and gift cards to help ease the financial strain of the season. They hope to not just put food in bellies and supplies in cabinets, but also to help families feel the joy that comes from picking out the perfect gifts for their loved ones. That kind of Christmas magic simply cannot happen without your support! The Student Council will be hosting a Christmas gift collection that will benefit Coping For Kids. Mrs. Richter will be the contact person for the collection and will deliver it to them when the collection is complete. We will start collecting ASAP and the final date to bring items in will be December 9th!🎄🎁
