The Scholastic Book Fair is coming IN JUST 2 SHORT WEEKS to our Beckemeyer school. The dates are October 5-9, 2026. Please come and help raise funds for our school and get our kids excited about reading 📚.

Cross Country had their first meet Friday evening at Mascoutah! Our runners showed up ready to work, compete, and cheer each other on!! The season is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what this incredible team accomplishes! 👏🔥🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💜

Science with Sander this month... 5th graders identified unknown substances by using physical properties, 6th grade learned about density by comparing and mixing liquids, and many students tried out the new handheld digital microscope. Shout out to Scott Credit Union (Ashley Rensing) for supplying us with our density lab liquids!

We posted at the end of last year, that Mrs. Sander gave her sixth grade students the opportunity to participate in the 811 Poster Contest. Students were already familiar with 811 through the safety program introduced at the beginning of sixth grade.
With more than 1,000 entries submitted nationwide, several students from our school entered the contest — and we are thrilled to announce that our very own Caroline Hilmes was named the Grand Prize Winner!
As the winner, Caroline received a technology package, and her poster will become the official property of the Department of Transportation.
In addition to this awesome prize package, she was invited to throw out the opening pitch at a Cardinal's game over the summer!
