Our very own Julie Voss is the recipient of this year's Illinois Principal Association, Kaskaskia Region, Friend of Education Award! This award recognizes a school staff member who goes above and beyond to help make school and student experiences better, in any capacity. Julie has done this time and time again during her 24 year tenure, many times behind the scenes without any recognition. Julie shows up and does the work. Snow cleared on a Sunday...Julie is on it. Leak in the bathroom...Julie is on it. Power went out...Julie is on it. Whatever it may be, there is no doubt Julie is on it. Because of her tireless work ethic, she has made District #12 a better place. Julie will be retiring at the end of this school year. There is no doubt she will be missed but we are so grateful for her 24 years of hard work and dedication she has given to Breese Elementary District #12. Thank you, Julie, this is a well deserved award. Congratulations!
