Bobcats beat Olney to take 1st place in the Salem Invitational. π They finished the tournament 3-0! Aubrey Mulvin & Hayleigh Holtmann were recognized as members of the all tournament team. Congratulations, girls! It's a great day to be a Bobcat! π
Kindergarteners enjoyed a few Halloween themed snacks the last few days: Spookly the Square Pumpkin and Monster Mash - with crushed bones, bat's fangs, mummy's toes, swamp slime and mud... YUM!

The Marching Bobcats participated in the Breese Halloween Parade last Saturday. They played their song "Ghostbusters" while wearing costumes! It was a cold but fun afternoon! π π»
Paxton was nominated by Mr. Johnson for helping a friend in the hallway. This particular friend was having a rough day, and Paxton asked if he could hold his hand and help him get to recess. Head on out for the BJWC Halloween Pumpkin Parade this Saturday!
Breese Elementary School will be represented at the Illinois Music Educators Association - District Music Festival by Junior High School Band Member: Marissa Bostick on her flute and Choir Members: Alaina Boien, Jasmyne Crone, Aspen Hollenkamp, Dalanee Materkowski, Spirit Stollings, Elaina Wilkins and Michael "Milo" Allen. The festival will be held at Belleville West High School on Saturday, November 18th. Congratulations to these students on their selection after the stringent audition!!! πΆπ΅πΌπ€ππ

Mrs. Sander gave her 5th grade science classes a mission of creating a bridge with limited supplies and criteria. Many students created bridges that held 2.5 times the amount of weight required! Great job, Bobcats! π π π
